Eurofins Qualitech AG is a specialised technical service provider in the field of Materials and Engineering Sciences. As an accredited testing centre, we employ over 70 staff members at our sites in Mägenwil, Winterthur, Altenrhein, Brügg, and Châtel-Saint-Denis. We offer expert assessments and customer-specific services in the areas of damage and material analysis, non-destructive testing and quality assurance, industrial computed tomography, metrology, and calibration.

The Destructive Materials Testing Department in Winterthur specialises in material testing and various quality assurance tasks within the field of materials engineering.

For Mechanical and Technological Materials Testing

Your Responsibilities…

• Carrying out tests in accordance with the accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025

• Performing tests such as tensile and compression testing, hardness measurements, charpy impact test, and PMI (Positive Material Identification)

• Evaluating and documenting test results

• Daily contact and close cooperation with our customers

• Preparing quotations for customer enquiries

• Conducting inspections in the presence of customers and authorities

• Reporting on work to be invoiced

Your Profile…

• Completed training as a physics laboratory technician, polymechanic, or materials tester specialising in metal technology

• Experience in destructive materials testing, or willingness to develop further in this field

• Independent and structured way of working

• Strong communication skills and customer orientation

• Very good German and good English skills are desirable
